Bimmerfest 2010

I know I know, I don't own a BMW. "What are you doing at Bimmerfest then?" you ask. A buddy of mine, recently picked up a BMW 335i coupe and is still hyped up on Bimmer love. He wanted to go so I came along for the ride, pun intended.

edit: my buddy's name is Darrell Choa (he got a little butt hurt I didn't mention his name)

Top 12 photos from Bimmerfest 2010 (I couldn't narrow it down to 10):

Happy Mother's Day Mom!!!

Best way to a mom's heart is through good food, gifts, and spending quality time with her children. This past Mother's Day we had all of that.

My mommy, people say I look like her, do I?

Backup that $hit up!!!

Instead of risking hard drive failure and losing all my valuable photos and videos, I finally took the plunge and bought myself a Network Attached Storage (NAS) setup. I did some extensive research and ended up picking a Synology DS210j with 2
Samsung HD154UI SATA 1.5TB harddrives. I have it setup with RAID 1, so basically I have 3 copies of my data, 1 on my external drive and 2 on my NAS drives, woohoo!!!

Carbone Lorraine, new track pads!!!

I have about 1 track day left on my current track pads. My current Raybestos ST43 have held up great for the abuse I put them through. There's much hype around these "new" to U.S. pads. The brand is Carbone Lorraine and they have been selling in the Euro market forever, just never in the U.S. market. They go under the name of "CL brakes" in the U.S. market. The main hype is the fact that they are sintered, not your standard semi-metallic or ceramic. More details on brake pad materials here. They are supposed to handle heat better, bite just as hard, last longer, dust less, and require less bed-in, I hope all these benefits are true.
